Hi there my name is Pamela Mckinnon, I am a full-time student here at FTCC majoring in EDU for Special Needs Children.  I do have a great love for people and I am very much a people person.  I have 4 beautiful children and 3 lovable grandchildren that I love so dearly.  I 'm 41 yrs old and I am really enjoying my life, living my life like its golden.  I do value and highly believe in spending quality time with my family.  Traveling on cruises are the way I choose to spend my life whenever time allows me to.  I have a home health patient that I do love dearly.  I am the oldest child out of 5 from a small town located about 15 miles from South of the Border near Dillon, S.C. my mother done a wonderful job to raised all 5 of us up alone, because my father was killed at an early age.  I am a Minister in my church and have been for 16yrs.  I have a great love for the ministry of the gospel.  I'm a very open minded person and is so willing to learn from my instructor and my classmates.  I do wish everyone a safe, blessed and happy semester, thank so much, Pamela Mckinnon

  2. Pamela:
The instructions for your first blog post indicate "Your first blog entry should outline your goals for this course. What do you already know and what do you want to learn? Explain why you chose these goals? Be specific. Don't include ideas such as learn as much as you can or learn about the computer. These are too vague and don't allow you to judge whether you actually have met these goals."

The advantages of more specific goals is that it makes it easier to create an action plan on what you will do to meet those goals and to determine whether you have met those goals at the end of the course. Please rethink about what you already know and can build on to succeed in this class--both about technology and pedagogy--and post an update to your goals. You can post a new post or simply click to edit the current post.

I look forward to working with you to meet these goals.
